Welcome

Following a life transition, you may not be sure how to move forward into an uncharted landscape. You may feel disconnected, disillusioned, lack confidence and motivation. You may question your beliefs, values, relationships, and priorities. You may miss your “old life” your “old self”. This is grief. Transformation. Transition.

Regardless of circumstance, each person’s response to grief is unique. Through guided “grief work”, you can navigate your new landscape and develop resilience and perspective to survive and thrive after loss. You can welcome peace, beauty, and joy back into your life.

Grief can occur any time there is a life transition – expected or unexpected – and often with circumstances you may not associate with “loss”, such as:

  • Physical diagnosis/Chronic Illness
  • Mental Health/Substance Abuse Diagnosis
  • Loss in Pregnancy
  • Family Estrangement
  • Retirement / Job Loss
  • Empty Nest
  • Divorce
  • Life limiting illness
  • Death

Right now, even the smallest effort can feel herculean, and I’m glad you’ve taken the step of coming here to see if grief therapy can help you, to learn, or to just not feel so alone.

Wishing you my genuine best through this very difficult time, Dawn.
